Anyone see Tyler in that video? I did not, but could have easily missed him.
Hopefully, Whitford just sending an early message. If it's the grade issue rearing it's ugly head again, better to deal with it now while there's still time to get it corrected.
Hopefully that's all it is.

So it begins. Jeremie Tyler is suspended indefinitely. What did he do? Unknown at this point. Hopefully it was nothing too serious and he can play again at some point

A kid suspended indefinitely will be fine? Kids who get suspended, and have been ineligible before, are not "fine." It's not like "it's just a bruise" or something like that.

"He will be fine!"
But, of course. In fact, if you think about it, having your best player mysteriously suspended first thing is actually a positive thing for the program, somehow or another. Right Kid?

I knew you would attack Sherm and a bit surprised by Cardfan but I'm positive he'll be back...period! And Sherm, did I say it was positive that the program lost Tyler early?? Don't think so...talk about dumb.
He made a mistake and will be back...bank it!!

NoT attacking, just saying anytime you have a player who's had more than one issue and has been suspended indefinitely, it's not good.

I'm not at all saying it is good..don't know how you can suggest I did? If you had more info then possibly you would concur with me.
He will be back and that's all I'm saying

U posed a question to me? I simply answered...my suggesting he and essentially we would be fine is with no injury he will be back from suspension and a major contributor this season...period

I am starting to think Tyler may become another what could have been story. Lots of god given talent but not much else going on. I was hoping he had figured it out but now he is suspended again. Id imagine he will probably be back and this suspension is not grade related.

Never should surprise us when a kid makes mistakes. Hope it is something that can be handled. We have to be glad Whit is taking action. It gives the kid the best chance and even if it hurts us short term is the only way you can go.
You have to take chances on kids, but cannot afford it unless you are willing to play hardball when you have to.

Are you looking for some sort of volume-based promotion from Captain Obvious to Colonel Obvious?

Are you looking for some sort of volume-based promotion from Captain Obvious to Colonel Obvious? Nah, just reflecting on how recruiting and coaching is a gamble. I am happy to not be so highly ranked, not a General.

Teague may be more of a reach. I've heard little that leads one to believe he will be much help inside. He may spend a lot of time on the perimeter where he may as well be 5-11. Meanwhile the balanced teams will be beating us up inside. I know this is just another obvious comment that facts are often important before drawing conclusions, and of course while your fears are certainly real to you , and it is "obviously" possible for the worst to happen, anything is possible. But, instead of that "general" obvious gloom and doom, take a look at this: Report on TeagueWhere exactly did you get the idea he was a perimeter player? I guess you have "heard little" so don't believe anything positive is possible. I know you fear the worst. Perhaps that means you therefore conclude without any evidence that he "may spend a lot of time on the perimeter" and everyone will be "beating us up inside." But maybe not! The article also offers some good news, not just about Teague, but about Moses improving over last year. Since early reports a year ago (accurately) indicated he was good enough to start then, if he is now better, that is pretty impressive.
