I feel deeply sad to see what is clearly a self portrait of halftime contemplating an unhappy life that he copes with by huddling at his keyboard insulting others to feel powerful.
It is good that the forum can do some good, let's all join in supporting him. Everyone needs love, attention and approval.
Save your psycho-babble.... Sorry, my comments probably hit too close to home. My apology.
But they are right sometimes to say a picture says more than a 1000 words.

We need a coach who runs practices that are far more intense, organised and focused. I'll bet you anything Whitford has no problem with guys showing-up and just going through the motions. You would lose that bet. Practice is very organized and focused. Players are responsible to give full effort. That covers "intense" in most cases.
Practice is intense and demanding enough physically, too. You apparently have never seen one. I guess I would say practice at this point in the season and with a short roster is a little less intended to be physically demanding though.
Coaches everywhere shorten practice, scrimmage less, do fewer drills in mid conference season unless they have to make major adjustments. Okay dumbass, then explain why we seldom see Whitford coached teams out-hustle opponents or dive for loose balls . Why do we make so many reach in fouls ? Why are we giving up an insane amount of offensive rebounds, why are we averaging seventeen turnovers a game, why does our offense lack crispness. Why is our defense so slow to react ? You don't know shit about basketball.

Dude, I retired at thirty-nine, play over a hundred rounds of golf a year, and basically have no responsibilities other than to myself. I am hardly a bitter or unhappy person. Believe it or not there are multiple reasons for completely normal well adjusted people to find you a bloviating, insufferable, bag of stupidity.

What if major adjustments are needed The problem there is you are usually SOL, long practices won't help fill the shoes of missing players. We made adjustments last year, changed offense, did pretty well for a while. But we ran out of gas eventually without guard depth. No adjustment was going to give Persons legs late in the season, or make Sellers able to guard quick guards. Josh did well but we were really down to 2 scholarship quality guards.

There are multiple reasons for completely normal well adjusted people to see things differently and argue. Not much reason for completely normal well adjusted people to be so insecure though. Insult is not exactly a sign of strength of argument, a poor substitute.
I think you stepped in it posting the picture, but as I said I am glad we are here for you and can give you some emotional attention.
Retire at 39, congratulations if that makes you happy. But, I have to wonder why you didn't take your talent and do something meaningful with. I guess you didn't really enjoy life being productive and good at something. It was never enough, never perfect. I get that. To each his own, but at 39, I had kids to raise, a career I wanted to get a lot done in and I had to actually give up golf for a while although I enjoyed it. Priorities, values. Now I can do what I want to do.
But c'mon my friend. So, now you value what? 100 rounds of golf is your tag line? Insult and hostility on a message board little read and ignored by most of the universe? Ignored with good reason.
Hey, I really enjoy golf, play more than 100 rounds in a good year, I get that part.
But I wish you had more ability to stay away from angry and depressed and didn't feel so much hostility. What fun is that?

Gosh and I think enjoying the rest of my life IS meaningful.

Just 2 days before we get to dissect another BSU gem. Man, time drags when your team is playing like the Cards.
Anyone heard an update on the return of Hazen and Ish? Not that I think it'll make a huge difference but something to talk about at least.

Joel and Eha said on the radio broadcast at Buffalo Hazen would likely return for the Akron game. Ish is likely to return then or shortly there after.
Go Cards!
