If we can end the season with an RPI in the 120's I would consider it a really good year.

Id bet we end up at 6-6 after pre season.. Could just also see 5-7 or 7-5 being very possible

They could win 5-6 in the non conf and still win 12-13 in the MAC. Could. Time to prove it. I still think next year is THE year.

I do see the depth either but what ever Yeah unless you think a VERY lightly recruited freshman center who played low level competition is going to provide effective depth this year. Teague is athletic but he ain’t a 5. Continuing to say Mallers can play in the post? Moses is it. Our only post. The rest are just fill ins. Can’t beat WMU, OU, etc if you end up having to go with fill ins. Which means Moses HAS to be able to stay on the floor. And the rest of the team has to be able to guard their positions. If we continue to give up the dribble drive Moses will foul out often.

Offense may often be no post, high post.
Defense is the issue, and that is the part where everyone else, Gunn, Mallers, Sellers, Teague get to take turns getting beat up...assuming Huggins cannot play. That's going to mean some pain in the paint.

Defense is what I’m talking about in terms of the post. We don’t play true post on offense. We may have to gimmick our way in some Mac games where the opponent has big bruisers. Such as wmu. My guess is the goal of every mac team will be to get Moses in foul trouble. We saw what a meh inside player at IpFW did to us with Trey sidelined.

The flip side is we have to attack their front line, with movement, relative quickness when Moses out. And we have to make them run and guard outside.
Teague will be better than he was @iupfw, we'll plan for when that happens, but less than 25 minutes with Moses out is trouble.

Id bet we end up at 6-6 after pre season.. Could just also see 5-7 or 7-5 being very possible 16 wins definitely pessimistic, if we can win 6 before conference. 20 wins is possible then with 13-14 in conference, or 12 with 2 in tourney after a reasonable draw.

I see 5-7. Dayton and Oklahoma games will shake our early confidence.
I can see us stumbling at Indiana State.
(I’m not counting Oakland City as a real game)

Because our game is predicated on shooting well and what seems like not much else, we will struggle with bigger, more physical teams who get out and guard us on the perimeter. Still don’t see anyone who can break down a defense for us to go in and get a bucket. Person tries but a bit too wild and comes up empty a lot. kJ. Walton addresses that next year but we need it this year. Really need Tyler to step his game way up. We’ll see if our ball handling issues have been addressed.

I said I thought we would get about 20 6-6 non conference 14 or so conference.. How many conference games are there 18 or so.. I might have to adjust that 20 down to 18ish

They are way over ranked in this computer model, BSU should be competitive in this game.
