Okay Persons and Moses. Moses largely because he is going to have to play 30 plus minutes a game.

I'm just hoping Tyler actually plays a whole season. Persons will be one of our leading scorers. Tyler will only be a possibility if he A: plays every game, B. Earns a starting spot. C. Plays with consistency and aggressivenss. Moses could actually be up there in scoring, provided he can stay on the floor and finds consistency. Other than that I hope Sellers finally displays what he did as a freshman. If he does he could be one of our leading scorers. EDIT: I see RC and Halftime are thinking along the lines I am. Good effort

Man, you really are jaded. I can at least still make it to the start of a game before giving up hope. Probably so but it helps ease the pain when it happens and it always seems to happen regardless of sport.. Come on man you cant help but notice its kinda became a trend.. I call it just being BSUISH Ha the Day BSUish was coined

Anybody else fully expecting to be let down. I think this is the first year in forever that almost all of us feel like we should have a pretty good team. As soon as I start to get hyped up something just enters my mind and says "come on Rob you know something will happen" NO! Yes

There was a game in January where we were getting dominated in the second half and I predicted we'd finish the season with 17-19 wins. I know it wasn't a preseason prediction but I'm going to give myself accolades for it anyway.

Injuries will be a big factor in how succesful or not we are this year...... You kind of got this one. We lost 2 players, not by injury, but it was a big factor in our final level of success.

Injuries will be a big factor in how succesful or not we are this year...... You kind of got this one. We lost 2 players, not by injury, but it was a big factor in our final level of success. Not easy to see how we'd lose so much at guard over the season and that would be a big weakness. We started out with 5 guy on scholarship who had played guard and a decent walk on. I remember the anti-fans criticizing Whitford for recruiting too many guards... In contrast it was easy to see how Trey being down or Teague would be impossible to overcome. That hurt early, we probably had two more wins with Trey at the level he showed during summer. Trey wasn't full speed until January (Yeah, I know, it sometimes seems he is rarely full speed) and we somehow came out of a pretty good non conference schedule with a little momentum and things looked pretty good. Every year has an odd twist in Ball State basketball it seems. This time we end the year as the team that can't shoot straight when we went in with that as an expected strong point. Last game the freshmen panned all year for disappointing in his lack of expected shooting finally shoots the way he does in practice, get 15 pts, but our senior record holder can't get a shot to fall. In fact the bottom line requirement for us to get to a MAC final was depth and the play of seniors who could have been a huge strength in tournament play. Hitting big shots, experienced and physically mature after 4 years, able to bear down under pressure, NOT. Instead hit zero shots. What was predictable is that we were not athletic enough except Teague and Tyler. And that if both big guys did not play well we were in some trouble. Might overcome it with hot shooting. But then it looks to me like the biggest issues were shooting and lack of senior leadership and depth at guard. Upside down expectations. With everything unexpected that happened all year, I am not going to cry about it too much.

Well, Whit created that roster problem by choice.
