We have a lot of good shooters and people that will play a lot capable of double figures on any given night... I look for Tyler, and Teague to lead the team in scoring with several bunched up closely behind them like Sellers, Moses, Kipaway, Persons and possibly even a breakthrough scorer like Gunn or El Amin. This team could be one of the most prolific scoring teams in BSU history. If Tyler and Teague are the leading scorers it's going to be a long long season. No shit.

I’m not sure why you would say that?!
They are the most athletic on the team and are scorers not shooters
By the way, for minutes played last season, Teague May have very well been the leading scorer

Okay Persons and Moses. Moses largely because he is going to have to play 30 plus minutes a game.

Ok you pick two and let’s see who averages more Persons is our best player bar none. He will be our leading scorer. Tyler will be a role player off the bench, IMO and we have so many guards. Teague is just a flat out unknown. He was wildly inconsistent and showed flashes of that dreaded word potential. The known commodities are Persons, Sellers, Kiapway and Moses. Everyone else is in the who knows category.

I'm just hoping Tyler actually plays a whole season.
Persons will be one of our leading scorers. Tyler will only be a possibility if he A: plays every game, B. Earns a starting spot. C. Plays with consistency and aggressivenss.
Moses could actually be up there in scoring, provided he can stay on the floor and finds consistency.
Other than that I hope Sellers finally displays what he did as a freshman. If he does he could be one of our leading scorers.
EDIT: I see RC and Halftime are thinking along the lines I am.

If Tyler and Teague are the leading scorers it's going to be a long long season. No shit. I have to agree with the kid, if these guys score a lot, we're going to be great. We have other scorers and will score a ton of points. Granted the very best outcome is Moses being able to play 30 minutes, but if he does that, defends and boards, passes well and gets a little garbage scoring we'd have a great outcome. If he doesn't and everyone else is scoring, we may still outscore the opponents. Tyler is a wildcard scorer. I'm not betting on the kid's prediction. And, since Tyler seems to want to do his scoring with the ball, and I think that is bad for our offense, I'd rather see Sellers be a long range catch and shoot cannon along with Kiapway and let Persons, Walker and Teague benefit from space in the lane, and maybe even Moses score inside, because he wouldn't be drawing a crowd in the post.

Teague and Tyler are maybe not so much unknown as wildly inconsistent.

Inconsistent and the flipside of the PT argument you make for Moses. Persons gets his points may conceivably outscore Teague and Tyler together. But, my god, if the kid were to be right on this one, we'd have a powerful scoring team, and I would not bet against those two guys leading us in scoring on at least one night this season, they have too much ability. If they come to play on defense, I am happy, but they are explosive athletes and both have shooting days where they are awfully good. So, I'll go partway with kid, SOMETIMES they will get PT and will score.

Trey has a hamstring issue and will be somewhat limited through November by design

Trey has a hamstring issue and will be somewhat limited through November by design That is a pretty big problem in the tough schedule early. The only good news there is IF we can figure out a way to play without him in that stretch, it may not matter if we win any games, we will have solved the biggest problem we have.

This is Teagues third season in this offense, if he was going to be a major contributor we would have seen it by the midpoint of last season.

Its only Teague's second season playing in real game situations! And, my point stands, and I disagree with Reality Check as well....Tyler will start over Kip although it may be a toss up, and Teague will score a lot of points! And, I don't agree that TEAGUE was wildly inconsistent...I do not have the stats in front of me but he was likely the #2 rebounder last season and as I pointed out may have been the best points producer for minutes played. Pretty steady for a Freshman.
So, Halftime, don't tell me Moses is slowed with an injury 3 or 4 games in...we will compare Teague/Tyler scoring after a few games versus Moses/Persons...it could be very interesting and actually close.
