I've followed the Colts for a long time, and I think this year might be the wildest turn of events I can remember. It started with Luck not throwing a year after surgery, the tinfoil hat crowd claiming he was done and that the Colts were covering it up to sell tickets. There was the McDaniels flip-flop that only added fuel to this fire. Then he started throwing, but the media went nuts after he didn't throw the Hail Mary against the Eagles. The Colts start 1-5, have zero talent and are on their way to a top 5 pick with an o-line that will seemingly never be fixed. Then suddenly it's fixed, the Colts win 8 out of 9 and are now one win away from a playoff spot. Not only that, but looking like a team that could actually make a run.
Even if the Colts don't win next week, I won't be too upset. We have a QB with an arm that still functions, a real head coach, a real GM, the youngest roster in the league and the most cap space this offseason. It's funny what happens when you get rid of worthless, football-cliche spewing rejects like Grigson and Pagano. It's also funny how this organization seems to operate much more smoothly when the owner stays off Twitter.

Well, well, well. From a 1-5 train wreck to an end-of-the-season play-in game. And wasn't Luck not even throwing a regulation football by the beginning of July? This is why sports remain fascinating.

I believe he WAS throwing a regulation football, it was just a high school regulation football And I'll call myself out as one of those who, after the 1-5 start, was actively rooting for this team to lose games, as I was already looking forward to the next draft and wanting as high a pick as was possible to attain. I eat my words on that.

Here is what the General said:
Luck gets hurt- 3 wins Luck plays like average qb- 5 wins Luck plays more or less like pre-injury - 7 wins Luck has best qb season in NFL history- wild card
Let’s see we have already won 9 and may win 10!
Although Luck has had a good season maybe top 6 not hardly close to the best season in NFL history?!
Don’t think you were misrepresented above General. Your just off the mark! I projected a 9-7 season.

How many sacks are allowed by the average OG? How many sacks/pressures, if any, were saved by using the6th overall pick? How does this compare to picking an impact player at an important position?
Of course nobody cares about any of that. They simply adopt the standard opinions fed to them, and are happy

They simply adopt the standard opinions fed to them, and are happy For all I know, these stats are completely made up, because I cannot find a single resource that tracks offensive line stats, other than penalties. I can tell you that Nelson has been flagged 8 times this season, 6 holding and 2 false starts. Other than that, I couldn't find a damn thing.

Me neither. I've looked a couple times. They obviously keep sacks allowed stats but I can't find anyone who puts them online
