I was initially very excited about the prospect of Wentz to the Colts. I think I had the 2017 Wentz as the main image in my head. But the more I look into Wentz, the more uneasy I become. The image below very nicely sums up my concerns. The website Stampede Blue is often full of a lot of silly fanboyism and hazy group-think, but it is useful for the sheer volume of information available there, and an occasional intelligent piece like this: link
Wentz's 2020 season is concerning because it was a really really terrible performance...the sort of performance a truly good QB would basically NEVER have, but probably what is even more concerning to me is how he settled into a level of mediocrity in 2018/19 that sure looks a lot like it's his natural level. I've also seen analysis that suggests the factors that drove his 2017 success are the sort of factors that are not stable over a career.

Note that I'm not necessarily saying the Colts shouldn't have made the Wentz deal. Because then you could reasonably ask me what they should have done instead. And I would have said "uhh..."
The thing is that Andrew Luck put the Colts in a fundamentally desperate situation. In a desperate situation you often have to choose a poor option over your catastrophic other options.

Very wise comment.

Who was Wentz's OC in 2017?
