Any conference road win is a good win. Funny how comments change as the game progresses. Go Cards! Funny how when the Cards play poorly, comments are critical, and when they play better, comments are more complimentary. That's just so weird. I've never seen anything like it. We are getting used to a little more of that "better" than we have seen in more than 15 years...hard even for the skeptics to stay completely negative. Flawed team, but one that can play, people want to like them. Remember the Bill Murray speech in Stripes.

Jack Owens has Miami playing well. They’ve got a really good PG from juco. Was hs teammate of Walton.

I agree that Miami may be a sleeper...we may be the 2nd best team at the moment but a lot can happen during the course of the season! I find it interesting when we win even in a place we haven't won in years some like to play down the opponent...Coaches picked them 3rd in the East, right? We never beat East teams at home or on the road or is that changing?

Ish has brought some energy to the lifeless Cards. Getting the ball inside has made for a nice little run. We're not as good a team with him as with Walker, but these minutes are good for him, probably good for our future success over the next few years. Promises to be a good primary ball handler, maybe best that we've had in a while. Can be a calm and steady force, learn a lot with the PT.

It’s fantastic to beat them for sure but right now they are not the OU we’ve been used to. They in fact do appear to be down this year. But it’s still a really good road win.

A road win in the conference is always important. Congrats to the Cardinals and on to the next one. Not much time to celebrate during the MAC schedule.

It was really important we beat them, for a multitude of reasons, even though they aren’t as strong this year.

They seem to have some good players, maybe they just haven’t put it together yet. We just need to play with more force and purpose from the jump.

In the MAC or virtually any conference winning games on the road is very difficult ....most would be very pleased to win 50% on the road..
I agree Cardfan...thats why I say start Tyler but apparently Whit likes him coming off the bench with Teague.

Good road win, I'm glad BSU was more aggressive in the 2nd and reaped rewards at the charity stripe. OU even with their mediocre record I still think I'd capable of being 10-8ish in conference. I'd like to get to more fluid starts, can't do that in Cleveland/worst case a first rd site or else but plenty of time between now and early March.

Whit spoke of the luxury of having Tyler come off the bench and he thought his defense on Laster was key. But it sure would be nice if the starters were more consistently productive to avoid the holes we dig and maybe put some teams away.

It really doesn’t matter who starts the Cards balance is good and whoever finishes is important. El Amin will be playing much more (will get the needed experience) because I don’t see Walker ever returning. Domestic violence. I know in pro sports they won’t tolerate the domestic violence and I’ve seen college athletes removed from their team when it happens.
