Screw you guys I went to the game and won so I am not a curse... Defense was bad.. Rebounding seemed worse. Still a win is a win. Anybody else notice we had at least 4 chances to throw an easy alley oop to Trey but Trey would not make the move to the basket.

We won so I will take it. Thank goodness Central could not throw it in the ocean. We were atrocious on the glass and we were bad defensively. Persons is a gamer as you could tell he was not 100%. Tyler was great tonight with up and down games from Moses and Teague. We have to be more aggressive against the press particularly against a diamond and 1. We left some points out there tonight by not attacking the press. It is a win with another tough road game at Millet on Saturday.

I had a friend come up from Indy. This was his first game since college but he has a good basketball IQ. Somethings I noticed he said. "Man we do not box out well" "Man we do not close out on the three well" "We dont have much post play.. What Happens when were not hitting threes" "That Tyler kid is pretty good" "that point guard is a tough kid bet other teams hate him" "Why does the point guard get himself stuck in bad positions under the basket" "our guys look like they need to hit the weight room" "we have some thick dancers" Its like he has been watching for years

Bring him every time!

That’s kinda scary Rob. That’s all what some of us have been saying. I really feel Whitford won’t maximize the program. Too many deficiencies to counteract all the good things. Fundamentals. Passivity. Physically weak. Inability to adjust quickly. Sometimes what seems a lack of feel for the pulse of the team by Whit.
I hope we can shake out of things and keep improving.

Definitely yes on the defense and rebounding... at least Teague got some traction tonight. We really need him to be a rim defender with his height, but he plays a finesse forward just like Moses. Thank God for Tyler's breakout game.

And you know any opposing coaching staff sees all that stuff in scouting and plans to exploit it.

I will also say I think this was Tylers best game as a card. Its what I expected we would get every night from his JR year on. I hope this is not another good game and he goes away again scenario. If he can do this most every game we become a much better team

Pretty much how I've felt for awhile. Maybe if we can get to 20 wins again, someone will take Whit off our hands. In the meantime...when are we finally going to get a game where we go nuts and hit 20 threes? I want a repeat of that EMU game from two years ago. If we're going to be soft and suck at fundamentals it would be nice to have just one game where we look like the best three-point shooting team in history.

Tuff to hear the same thing from an independent source.

Like many are saying a win, but clearly there were issues giving up offensive boards. Glad Tyler stepped up. To get a bye to Cleveland certainly the level of play needs to be taken up at least a half notch because Toledo is better than expected.

Our conference ambitions at this point are getting a Top 4 seed.
