I hope we are looking at another ND man since I think Cunningham & Scholl are the best we have had in the past 20 years.

In glad he's retiring. I'm sure he's a nice guy but this athletic dept probably needs someone in that position with fire in his belly and an edge if you will. 0 official combined conference championships in football and basketball since 2001.

Exactly. This was Sandy’s retirement job. He was low key and laid low.

I'd be all for hiring someone completely outside the academic world.

I'd be all for hiring someone completely outside the academic world. It takes some connections to schedule, some experience to handle all the minor sports. There will be a search firm, cone down to who the President wants to work with, represent BSU. Don't expect much of a surprise.

Wasn't that the game plan on his very first day at Ball State?
I think he brought in a stack of Florida Real Estate brochures with him.

Worked with Bubba more, he was all about Bubba. Just a short stop on the way for him.
We hired too good with Scholl.

If AD, I’d immediately turn the basketball program over to a triumvirate of Sherm, Cardfan and 00hmh and create a 400 level entrepreneurial course to examine the fallout......
......RMC would have total and autonomous authority over all football operations........Cardfan12 oversees all non-revenue sports (with exception of football and basketball)....
......then I’d address the most glaring need and form a small group to develop new criteria for selecting Code Red Dancers.

Can’t I be in charge of the code red dancers instead? Sherm will want to go alone on the basketball program.

What was the Associate AD under Scholl that seemed to do a really good job.. Could we get him back. Was it Harding or something like that
