Dude if Pete were still our coach he’d absolutely want the AD job. He was interested in going that route.

You know you may have just nailed a script for an awesome reality show. Could you Imagine Brady as a head coach having to work with under Lembo.. Fireworks

Regardless of allegiances, I would hope we would clean out the WHOLE department when we do hire a new AD. It is beyond time for a renewal in that department.

If AD, I’d immediately turn the basketball program over to a triumvirate of Sherm, Cardfan and 00hmh and create a 400 level entrepreneurial course to examine the fallout...... ......RMC would have total and autonomous authority over all football operations........Cardfan12 oversees all non-revenue sports (with exception of football and basketball).... ......then I’d address the most glaring need and form a small group to develop new criteria for selecting Code Red Dancers. We could work this I agree. Sounds pretty good. But if you think we're turning RMC over the keys to the concessions stands in football, including hot dogs, perhaps there is a line we need to draw.

Mike Clark is probably the only guy I'd retain. But Pat Quinn is overdue to retire, and Joe Hernandez is just coasting. We need new blood in the worst way.

I hope we always hire too good. Me too. I'd rather swing for the fences than celebrate hitting a sac fly on an AD hire.

In glad he's retiring. I'm sure he's a nice guy but this athletic dept probably needs someone in that position with fire in his belly and an edge if you will. 0 official combined conference championships in football and basketball since 2001. ....and only 2.5 years of those were with Sandy. No championships (football or men's basketball) w/ Bubba or Scholl either

Is that all the longer he was here ?? I knew it wasn't too long, but 2.5 years surprises me.

He was probably doing some career maneuvering so that he could retire in Delaware county. Just a guess. 🤔
