Yea back to that as expected Buffalo won. My wife who casually follows sports said an interesting but very true statement a minute ago. "When Buffallo walked into the arena I thought to myself man they are big." "They just did not look like the other Mac teams." Look at our body types vs anyone else’s. There’s no comparison. That’s a big failing of Whitfords philosophy. Walton has the body and athletic ability to play with Buffalo’s guards. He is is the only one with Persons lacking the athletic ability to defend them. We lack the size and strength inside. Hazen is athletic but does not have the body to bang with Perkins. The two scholarships have to go to big strong interior players. Preferably either a grad transfer to luckily fall into our lap that can play and a JC power forward than can play. We don’t need anymore projects.

Those guys typically go the power six route, even the marginal ones.

Heres the thing we take so many transfers coupled with redshirts that our roster is thin and full of holes. If we take more transfers they have to be jucos or Grads so they can play and HELP next year

Until we can guard quick perimeter players we won’t get any better. How about adjusting the defense according to what is happening on the floor. We should have went to a zone. At least try something different than getting beat on the floor, layup. Beat on the floor, layup.

Exactly what is Whit's philosophy? Looks to me that it is laying big turds virtually every time his teams have a chance to break out of this 20 year funk we have been in.
