Like the Grunk idea if Whit bolts. More of a Butler type move. We will be really good again next year in my view....20+ wins Seriously you want to elevate the assistant of a guy who has two wins vs the Top 100 in SIX YEARS. That would be the dumbest move possible, and be exactly what Butler didn't do when they brought in Barry Collier. Seriously it doesn't matter anyway, because Whitford will be here until he is fired.

I refuse to believe we can’t get 4K students out of 21k into that building on a somewhat regular basis. We’ve gotten that many to football games when the team was good. (As many as 8 k on a couple occasions). The arena is actually on campus AND it’s indoors. Weather not a major factor. Really lame if we can’t find ways to get more students in the building. I agree We can and should get more. But c'mon, 4000? Regularly? I doubt we drew 4000 regularly in all the best days. I am not sure how often for a single game in a season. Worthen opened with a big crowd, that's true. I doubt many mid major do 4000 regularly. And,let's not brag about that FB attendance... You think we can do better than back then, MUCH better than we do now? Yet attendance down nation wide. Kids here cared more about basketball in that day. Had fewer entertainment options. We had big names occasionally coming. And your 21K figure includes online, and full time on campus significantly lower than that. OK. Assume that we can do it. As Kevin O'Leary would say, what we need to care about is the money. We need more revenue. Won't get much. But. We might sell some cheap dogs I guess?

Well these past several posts pretty much sum up why you work for the state of Indiana.

Grunk Is a good guy and not like Whit at all when it comes to thoughts on Basketball. He would coach a much different game than whit does. Im not sure if he is ready but his style would be nothing like Whits

1. Whitford is a methodical program builder and Cardinals are set to become a MAC dynasty 2. Whitford has targeted this class to resume’ build his way to fame and fortune, he leaves: 2a. Ball State leverages recent success and lands a qualified replacement who builds upon program 2b. Ball State hires replacement, program slumps and message board blames Whitford’s lack of recruiting 3. This season is Whit’s high water mark, he stays, Cardinals slump back to mediocrity .....taking another look at this. Options are still on the table.

He had better win this year because 2020 does not look as bright except maybe against EMU.
