Watched my first MLB since I can’t remember when. He looked decent, got hit hard, but then that’s what Boston can do. Relievers couldn’t hold the lead. Too bad.

Plesac loses # 5 pitches 5 innings giving up 4 runs, 1 walk, & 4 ks to Tampa. ERA now 3.61.

Another rough outing this afternoon against WhiteSox. 5 innings, 8 hits, 6 ER’s. Not over, but will probably take the loss.

Didn’t check, but I’m thinking this is Zach’s first 9 inning outing.

According to “Indian News”, Cleveland holding Plesac out of a regular start to reduce his innings going into the last two weeks of the season.

He is scheduled for tomorrow & again on 9/27. I wondered if he was suffering from pitching the complete game. It sounds like they were at least thinking the same way. So are we to think 5 innings or 100 pitches will be it in these starts?
