Indians in dead heat with Rays with 9 games left. Assuming he will be on a short leash if he gives up a couple of runs.
Be interesting to see how he pitches with extended rest.
Hope he’s on top of his game. Broadcast on FS1.

Didn’t get the loss but gave up 4 ER in 4.1 innings.
Rays and Indians still tied for last playoff spot with 6 games remaining.
Should get one more start.

Plesac is supposed to go again on the 27th vs Nats. I hope he can give them 5 good innings & 100 max on pitches.

Season over. Plesac pitched a decent 5 innings with 2 ERs and 6 K’s. Indians go on to lose.

Plesac was “iffy” to hang in the starting rotation on opening day but Clevinger now out with knee injury and the starting group is once again skinny.
Spring games start on 22nd. Plesac scheduled to start on Monday.

Plesac pitches perhaps his best game against the White Sox going 8 innings giving up 3 hits & striking out 11. He did not give up a run nor did he walk anyone. He left with a scoreless tie so only gets a no decision.

If weather cooperates, Zach is scheduled to pitch against the Reds tonight on Fox Sports OH - not sure if it’s on Fox Sports IN.

Would certainly have to agree that the team doesn't sound real happy. How childish. Just that mentality that most all pro athletes have that they are above the rules, even if they are specific team rules, and are detrimental to all those that might have come in contact with them after the event. NO value nor respect for anyone but themselves.

And yet the SEC, Big 12, and ACC, where that mentality is fostered at an even deeper level, think they're gonna be safe and smart come football season lol

Do I recall reading on this board that he was a bit of a pain while he was at BSU, too?

Do I recall reading on this board that he was a bit of a pain while he was at BSU, too? Yeh, I was thinking the same thing. As soon as I read in the article and it stated Clevinger was "free-spirited", that went through my mind too. Sounds like a bad pair. Again, they're above the rules.

Why do our guys do stupid stuff when they get to the pros? Let’s see, remember Newsome and his pot ( wrecker his career in the NFL), remember Snead and his DUI (wrecked his career in NO), and now this. Sounds like he is gone.
