It’s a one year deal. Something else is up ballards’s sleeve.

One of the big knocks on Rivers is that he holds the ball too long. Just like Brissett.

Never been a Rivers fan. Not been a winner I’m my opinion. Maybe the new locale will suit him. He will bring an attitude with him..

Rivers is my all-time LEAST favorite QB. I agree on the 1 Year only contract....but I am shaking my head.
Glad the Panthers are telling Cam to hit the road. He and Olsen and Rivera can be Butt-hurt, but they couldn't produce.

When you have a below average qb and aren't picking at the top of the draft you're in that dreaded limbo of mediocrity and have no GOOD options. Rivers is a fairy desperate gamble coming off a downturn season at 38. But assuming you don't like any of the available draft options, then what else are you gonna do? Time will tell if Ballard had better options .

Basically they’re gonna try to make chicken salad for one year.

What's it matter? Sports are never going to be played in the nation again after the Corona forces the entire world to stay in their homes for fear of catching a cold! (Unless you're over 70, have pre-existing conditions, or don't take care of yourself, in which case, PLEASE stay in your home and protect yourself)

Well, I was against using the resources to acquire and pay Buckner when the receiving corps is in such a shambles, and I'm just sort of OK with gambling on Rivers as a desperation move, but I certainly do appreciate that Ballard has given us some actual sports new to chew over.

He’ll still get good WRS in the second round. Very deep draft.

Or move up by sending the 2 second rounders to a trade.

Or move up by sending the 2 second rounders to a trade. Exactly

Given the depth of the draft and the needs of the Colts, I'd rather them keep both second round picks and acquire talent, than package them for a single pick.
This team has enough needs that every pick counts

You seem to assume that is only the high risk patients need to be concerned and it will just be catching a cold for everyone else.
You aren't hospitalized with the common cold.

Still a lot of denial out there about what the virus can do and who is susceptible.
