Look on the bright side, if Biden mandates a nation-wide lockdown starting in late January, maybe we can all get access to Hunter Biden's Pornhub account. .....That should keep us entertained. Of course I would prefer to watch Ivanka Trump's, but she doesn't seem to have one. The Trump campaign has finally in the last days reached an unexpectedly low level. Not that I have had high expectations.
We see the party of Trump abandon GOP long standing conservative principles of free trade, international leadership, America as the place for immigrants who want a better life, of fiscal prudence, of small government, and of civilized discourse. One critical of executive orders upending legislative intent, of good men surrounding the President and his listening to advice and input. Even from the other party. That substance is sad enough. The simplified rhetoric on the campaign trail at some level is par for the course in politics although this time including an unprecedented number of misrepresentations plus outright lying. But.
Hey, let's at least avoid reference to whose family we want to see in porn!

On a Monday last month a guy at my work started not feeling well during the day. That night he got tested and got his positive result the next day. He had spent a long meeting with another co-worker (over 65 years old). She got sick Wednesday and got tested immediately and was positive. On Tuesday the woman who would later test positive had meetings with co-workers (30 year old female and over 65 year old male), along with a car ride with an over 70 year old, all three of whom later tested positive, the two older males with symptoms and the younger female with no symptoms. Also another woman got sick and tested negative first then re-tested positive, but I don't know how much she saw any of the other positive results.
When we found out the positive result with the first guy who closed down and all worked from home, but it was too late. Fortunately, everyone is ok, even the older people, not all of whom are in good general health. One person with preexisting asthma is still struggling, but everyone else is pretty much back to normal.
I tested negative.

The odds are good in most cases, but with so many being infected too many will suffer and die.
So easy to cut that down.
If we don't act in the next 2 weeks those numbers will slam hospitals.
In NYC health care workers came in from everywhere. Now everywhere is going to get slammed if we are not lucky.
We have to learn, I hope we avoid shut down.

And you have to get people to take the vaccine.
Good chance by January they get it started, by May everyone in vulnerable groups have good chance to be vaccinated.
I'll credit public-private partnership when/if that happens.
That's the time line scientists predicted.

Flu 30-60 percent effective.. measles 97% effective. Pfizer 90% so this could essentially wipe the virus out if everyone gets and takes it

If we have two bugs floating around into the future, Covid and flu, we will probably need to use masks in "flu season" much more than we do.

Pfizer did not take up front money to develope this vaccine but they are going to take 2 billion from Gov for rapid production and getting it out and available to everyone.. 100,000,000 million doses

No surprise. Probably not even to Trump who promised it by September, who will probably tell us no problem, Covid, Covid, Covid, all going away by election day.
Those reports of cases hospitalization, death. Just fake news.

Im not a conspiracy theory guy and I do not believe widespread fraud or cheating allowed Biden to win. I have to question there timing on the release of a 90% effective virus though.. No matter what side you on its easy to see that they had this info last week if not longer. They did not take any money from project warp speed but they did use all relaxed time frames etc that came from it.. They have also said they will be taken the money for the production and disribution of the virus. So while this Vaccine is not one of the ones touted by Trump he still had a big part in it. If this is dropped last week it really could have changed this election.. Now Pfizer did not nothing wrong or illegal its their vaccine and they can release info on it whenever they choose so if they or people around them wanted trump out they played a good card game

Vaccine good news long term. Not actually going to do all that much in the next 6 months. This wave of infection, death, likely cannot be avoided. covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america?view=total-deaths&tab=trendLook at projections for January. 400K death total by Feb 1. Those would all be infections early January. No vaccine will cut that figure. Cannot be distributed in 2 doses by then. 300K daily infections by then projected. Would expect 2000 deaths daily in January. Key now is masks distance in November, December. Projections say we could cut infections in half. But even that is very high total. The story is how bad we have done last 5 months. |
