The policy is created for a pretty good reason, to protect employees and customers of private business just like other health and safety requirements. Forget it. "Forget it." is a good move when you are defending your position as badly as you are.

Not sure where you are getting the 70+, but assuming it's true (and it might be) those results would be heavily weighted towards the original Alpha variant. I suggest you will find the effectiveness against Delta is less and the upcoming Lambda and Mu will be even less. This is why the Biden Administration should be promoting boosters against the variants, not boosters against the same original Covid-19 virus. They are wasting critical time bought by the Trump vaccines in not developing boosters against the variants. Speaking of boosters, who are going to believe, Biden who told everyone this week to go out and get a booster, or the FDA who voted 16 to 2 this week to limit boosters to only those 65+ and with underlying conditions. Guess Biden is unwilling to follow the science as understood by the FDA. Monoclonal antibodies treatments (something you in the past have claimed to be worthless and much too expensive to warrant being used to save human life) seem to be becoming a bit too popular. Biden is attempting to choke-off the supply to Red States such as Florida in order to reroute them to Blue States. www.washingtonpost.com/health/2021/09/14/monoclonal-antibodies-shortage/"In Florida, a spokeswoman for DeSantis said in a statement: “It is regrettable that the Biden administration would play politics with people’s lives during a pandemic, by withholding a life-saving treatment and providing mixed messages to Americans.” She was referring to President Biden’s vow last week to ramp up distribution of therapeutics for covid-19."

The vaccines have been extremely good at preventing hospitalization and death.
You are correct that breakthrough infection does occur. Usually asymptomatic or mild.
This is VERY much true also of flu vaccine where we have rare testing in such cases.

Rerouting the drugs seems in order.
Who's playing politics? 70% of the regeneron has gone to Texas and Florida. If Desantis wants a fair share it would require a reduction in use from present levels... (I have never said the drug used properly did not help. It is NOT useful in many cases and not cost effective for wide use.)
It also seems logical to give states some credit for prevention efforts. It's cost effective.
Vaccine has ample supply, no shortage, costs less than $25 to obtain more, while a dose of regeneron which is in short supply costs around $1000.
Maybe he could buy a 1000 or more masks and prevent more deaths for the same cost?

You are a piece of human garbage.

OK, let's make that a goal.
But, if not enough for everyone why the sick person in Florida first?
Not reasonable to expect a state to mitigate harm as a factor?
Florida policy means a state that chooses less masking, less emphasis on vaccine and consequently "needs" more treatment with scarce very expensive treatment should get it before another state which is doing more to prevent disease?
Sick people elsewhere don't need it?

Super spreader event on the southern border. C'mon. Almost certainly more fans at any Texas college FB game or any NFL game who are not vaccinated. A lot more chance those people add to the Texas pandemic numbers than the refugees.
None of those fans are being flown back to Haiti before they come in contact with anyone. Almost every one of those FB fans able to be vaccinated and not be any danger to anyone.
I suggest we should use a small amount of the vaccine not being used in Texas for those refugees.

I didn't think it possible you could make an even dumber comment, but somehow you managed to do it. The Del Rio refugees are almost entirely Haitian where the vaccination rate is far less than 1%. It's amusing both you and the Biden Administration have no issue sending these border crashers back to Haiti, but argue South and Central Americans should stay. I wonder if it has anything to do with how these groups tend to vote ? Nice Job 00 "Human Garbage" hmh .....................

Assume all 14000 are not vaccinated. Most are going back to Haiti. The Haitians are probably not going to be as great a threat to other Americans as the FB crowd...
Even if you assume they all make a break for it and somehow infiltrate American society, that would be 14000 not vaccinated. 14 million Texans are not vaccinated, 9 million 13 and up.
The positive rate in Haiti is high. And also in Texas. A serious problem in both and world health authorities warn travelers not to visit both.
A college FB game in Texas probably has 30-80K people and vaccination rate among adults is perhaps 65%. NFL games more like 60-80K. National vaccination rate among adults maybe a little higher than Texas. NFL teams have a "mandate" but aren't checking fans. The number not vaccinated would perhaps not be as high 14,000 but all the FB fans are going back into the community to mix with Americans. Is Del Rio really a bigger threat?

No stupid shit, the odds of a contagion being spread among a segregated group of 14,000 unvaccinated humans is exponentially higher than any size group with a 70% vaccination rate. You are the dumbest person on Earth.
