I salute you for caring so much about the refugees, but a super spreader event is dangerous to the community AFTER the crowd disperse.
But never fear, as long as they have been together on the road and as long as they have been there they all have natural immunity by now.

Who is avoiding the main point here? And why are you talking about the Haitians health concerns when Texas is as much of a hot spot? Apart from whether the immigrants are reasonably likely to be infected before, or whether they are likely to be infected waiting at the border, the point is they pose little threat to the US population. OTOH, the millions of Texans who are not vaccinated are a clear and present danger to their community. Apart from you whether you give a damn about their conditions, actually it is VERY unlikely they traveled alone, and quite likely they were mixed in crowded conditions with other Haitians along the way, for example the conveyance from Haiti to Mexico or Central America or overnight along the way. Even when I make a sarcastic remark to point out how little you care, it is a more accurate argument than you present. We have literally millions of doses of vaccine that will expire unused by US citizens. If you are so concerned about the welfare of the migrants why not vaccinate them. If you are at all concerned about spread of disease in the US, why are you supporting antivax sentiments? You don't seem to give a damn about either. |

I was probably misled in your posts. It was hard for me to appreciate your true beliefs where about everybody who supports vaccination seems to be some kind of nutjob in your view. That and you seem to support strongly many public officials who are opposing vaccines. Oh, and that you consider Dr Fauci barely qualified to speak on the subject. Characterized him as "graduated from Cornell and was a bureaucrat all his life" of something like that.

And his daughter and first wife were killed in an auto accident. So criticizing anything he does is just being mean to a poor old guy who has experienced SO... MUCH... LOSS. And yet he's not concerned about the people at the border. Why is that? |

Early in his political career he campaigned for months falsely claiming his wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver. The fact is his wife pulled out in front of a truck and no alcohol was involved. The truck driver had to file a lawsuit to get him to knock it off.
