Sallee's squad has won 5 straight and are on a bit of a roll. Freshman Ally Becky has really stepped up since Clephane tore her ACL.

We are lucky to have Sallee as a coach. I'm sure he's gotten offers from bigger schools but has stuck with BSU

Unfortunately, the lady Cards have lost 3 straight, granted all versus legit conference opponents. I believe they could of won today @ Toledo had they not lost the rebounding battle decidedly.
On the flip side, their schedule is a bit more favorable to close the regular season vs exclusively MAC West opponents.

Bit of a February swoon for Brady’s Bunch. Hopefully they can get it back together but it looks like they’ve run out of gas.

Off to a good start. The scrimmage against Wheeling showed us that this could be our most talented and deepest team in a very long time.

Disappointing. Looking at the stats difficult to be in the game (which they were) with 11% from 3 pt range. 24 turnovers hurt, especially in the last 5 minutes. Plus 20 rebounds helped, but the usual scorers did not show up; Starters were 7 for 28 for FG's. On the good side Bolden, Richard, Raush and Shafer can play.

Three early fouls on Clephane and Becki really hurt. Team intensity lacking until fourth quarter Bolden and Richard are really good. Team will get it all sorted out and will be ok

BSU Ladies breeze to victory in their matinee tilt with IU-East by the score of 105-51. Like the men, they can't seem to buy a three-point basket. They shot 5 of 31 from beyond the arc.

Can’t believe BSU full court pressed NAIA school IU East for nearly 3 quarters leading by 50 points. TV announcers called BSU’s win over 0-6 IU East “an astounding victory!” In the first half, IU East committed 27 turnovers, including 3 or 4 ten second back court violations. The Red Wolves could barely get the ball up the court against BSU’s suffocating press. As a BSU fan, I was embarrassed by the way BSU took out our loss at Tennessee Tech where we didn’t press the entire game, by humiliating East IU 105-51 with full court pressing and trapping nearly the entire game. I sincerely doubt the Red Wolves from Richmond, Indiana will ever agree to come back to Worthen Arena again.

Press the first half and then solid half court D second half. I too thought it was classless pressing the whole game. However the whole team got to play meaningful minutes and execute the press. Could have seen everybody and the press. the first half. Thelma will get it together.
