I agree. Akron was not within a country mile in getting rebounds on many of their shots. If we continue to improve in rebounding we are really going to be a load for everyone the rest of the way.

We forced them to beat us from 3pt range and they almost did. I thought our depth once again did great and our points in the paint killed them. Legs are tired in the 4th causing 3pt misses. Because of our depth we are able to maintain a fast paced game. Still missed too many FT.

Another win for the Chirpies! I can't imagine Sallee's gonna be too happy about his starting center getting herself ejected, but the team overcame that and kept the pace the whole game.

I just caught some of the Kent game, and Richard got 2 techs in a row for talking shit after a hard foul she delivered. She definitely has a chip on her shoulder.

The first tech was for taunting and she should have been taken out then but it seemed like things had cooled down as she was walkin away and she again mouthed off to the Kent player. Her actions could have cost us the game. I like her style of play as she is a good rebounder and has very good post moves and finishes. Anxious to see how she handles this incident. Sure that Brady had something to say to her. This is the first time that I have seen her have any emotion on the floor. Maybe the girl that she blocked trash talked her on a previous play. Probably since it was a monster block she lost it in the moment with a taunt.Seen it in the pros bringing out a yellow flag

Yes we could not hit but Thelma did make 7 3pointers. We played tough defense. Eastern has dome really talented players who we basically shut down. eighteen point win proves my point.
