This is one time where we aren’t just “in the tournament”, we are as competitive as any team in it. I am not following the reasoning there. I think it shows every one is playing well who is in it and the tournament will be a tough one. But, the top teams losing in conference tourney with extremely likely at large spots does not mean they are not still top teams.
And it likely means the others in are hot at the right time.

Just gotta say that again I am baffled by the attendance figure. According to the box score there were 1,500 people at the PFW game.
I only watched it on TV but there seemed to be more there. Thoughts from anyone who was actually in attendance?

1500 was likely the paid attendance. The 1500 students on hand were free admission. It was an incredible crowd that made it difficult for the ESPN broadcast team to even hear themselves the crowd was so loud after watching the replay after I got home. Home court advantage was huge as the crowd is so loud at volleyball matches! They said it was a bigger crowd than for the Hawaii matches when there were over 3000 in Worthen. Incredible atmosphere Saturday!

I drove into town for the match. IMHO it's safe to say there were a minimum of 3,500 there. Possibly up to 4,500.
