Does anyone know why we didn't play the first game yesterday? Usually, the #1 seed gets the benefit of favorable scheduling - e.g. the longer time between games. Perhaps it was to allow for a larger home crowd later in the day. Real good question, especially since it was originally scheduled for us to play the 10:00AM game. Hope someone can answer that question. |

I'd say that Maloney wanted the second game to know who we would play in the next game, to determine pitching rotation.

I'm sure he had a Plan A and a Plan B, depending on if we won or lost. Now they're shooting for a 2:05pm start. That seems optimistic... |

Not having lights (be it permanent or temporary) is really hampering the ability to work around the gaps in the weather...
