Wrong about dislike for Maloney.[ Wrong about bitter parent br] I read 143 pitches. I hope that was a misprint.
As an ex pitcher who had to have tommy John surgery by James Andrews in Alabama ( whose wife was 1/2 his age and hot as hell by the way), that’s too many pitches for a 20-21 year old.
He’s spent for the MAC tournament

143 pitches for Schweitzer??? That wreaks of desperation. CMU coach probably slammed him for that, and quite frankly I would agree if thats what was said. if I was armchair managing I would of brought in the pen to start the 8th, Im very glad we have a seasoned winner making the calls in Maloney. We've seen in BSU basketball the end game of 20 years of mostly inept leadership and coaching(hopefully changing soon with mike lewis).

Makes me afraid because our relievers must be really weak.

He’s spent for the MAC tournament I take it you weren't at the game. He mostly threw breaking balls 4th through 8th innings. He was very insistent on going back out. His dad was in the stands and also okay with it. He also got the attention of the scouts in attendance. His pitching motion is compact and smooth, so he doesn't get a lot of wear on his arm. They've been conservative with him all season. The kid wants to win. He's also going to get paid soon, and he was okay with it. He doesn't need you to fight a battle for him that you're making up because of your obvious dislike for Maloney. He wasn't going to pitch again in the MAC tournament anyway, so just stop it. I'd like to see you get out there and coach against the antics of the CMU coach and his team (which is a damn good team without that crap, btw). I mean seriously, what kind of an asshole do you have to be to come on here with the kind of season we've had and constantly bash our veteran coach who does things the right way and consistently wins?

Makes me afraid because our relievers must be really weak. You save innings in a double elim tournament where you can. The risk of taking a dominant pitcher out is what if things fall apart after you do so? You see it quite often. You would have criticized him if he had taken him out and we lost the game just the same. And no, the Central coach wasn't mad that he kept Schweitzer in. That's just a silly comment. The Central coach is a childish dick who plays classless mind games to get an edge.

Homeboy, you are way off. What are you Maloney’s offspring? You think breaking balls for multiple innings saves an arm? Clearly you don’t know your ass from a hole in the ground! Thanks for the live feedback to who was at the game. And I love that he’s a competitor. Back in the day 143 was normal for successful pitchers. In the majors. Love what Maloney’s done for the program, even though he’s a Bronco😊

Ask any D1 pitching coach or D1 pitcher who throws 95 mph which is harder on their arm. They'll tell you. Seems as if you're the one who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
Bitter is no way to go through life. I hope things get better for you.
I'll pose the question again...

Perhaps you're really just a CMU troll...

Calling BS, I’ve had multiple feedback on the side that my concern is justified. Wake up and quit being a clueless dic k!
Let me guess, you’re the dipshit father that thought his kid was the best. You know, the same asshole that was cut from his high school team that wants to live thru his medicore kid, giving him preferential treatment as his little league coach.
My original post about Maloney’s success and this subject really hit home with you. Sorry.
I’m a Card thru and thru that cares about the long term success of our committed athletes.

Love what Maloney’s done for the program, even though he’s a Bronco😊 What's he done for the program? I mean he's a good coach but he's not a great coach, a big game coach, is he? I mean he's never won the tournament in like 17 tries, and he's had some good teams right? You just can't play every game like it's your last and leave a pitcher out there that long, even if it is a key game against a top contender.

You go with starters as long as you can to save relievers for later games. Schweitzer got into his normal groove. He wanted the ball. Let him continue. Schweitzer appears to be a slow starter in games. First inning he threw 27 pitches. If Bischel is pissed at that, then his team should play better.
