What a great comeback! We need to play every game like we are behind. I gave up on them several times today, but they kept coming back. I hope Koziol is okay. It looked pretty bad. He and Hunt are quite the duo and this comeback wouldn't have been possible without them. it looked horrible I was right in front of it |

He and Hunt are quite the duo and this comeback wouldn't have been possible without them. The TE’s were the difference some GREAT catches. Plus, the speed at which JP gets rid of the ball is amazing. Great game with some strong D1 catches. The man of Steel did his job with 3 TDS. GREAT SECOND HALF. NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT LEAVING, ALWAYS THOUGHT THERE WAS TIME FOR THE COME BACK - made me nervous in OT. Great job team. Reminded of the greatest come back against Toledo with Kneu - my wife and I were the only ones in the stands to see that finish - or so it felt! |

I don’t know who it was but they were interviewing a coach post game. They coach said NIU was dancing on the logo and he said he didn’t like them at all Not a big deal but you usually hear them give coach speak and he didn’t hold back. JP really noted his total dislike of NIU - have to agree. He was mad as hell and ready for the fight! |

Check the NIU blog from the 1st half to the end of game for fun. After game they say how hiring Hammock was a big mistake. Once again MAC teams are for the most part pretty equal & weekly surprises will occur. I see us as being competitive with the other West Division teams hopefully we improve weekly & can win the division.

Competitive seems fair. Not terrible... Very doubtful we win the division.
We're a few points in this game from being in crisis mode.

Well I did it again. When Walee ran for 68 yards for the TD with about 6+ minutes to gor I shut off the TV and my wife and I left for a dinner party near Pendleton. About 6 miles from there she turned on the radio 104.1. There was static and the signal was weak. I knew there was a game on but didn't know which one. As we got closer I heard overtime and almost ran off the road as the game finished. I then thought of 1993 and the fact that I left that game somewhere maybe the middle of the fourth quarter and by the time that I pulled into my drive the game ended with the announcer screaming into my ear. In disgust I threw my last beer against the barn door. Later at the Las Vegas Bowl I was in the hospitality tent eating fried chicken and began talking to a nice older gentleman about the bowl game. I jokingly told him that by attending the Las Vegas Bowl that I was repenting my lack of faith in the Cardinals for walking out on them in the Toledo game. As we left for the game I told him my name and he said it ws nice talking to you and that his name was Ed. Ed Ball I said that I had a few jars with green beans in them with his name on them.
Any suggestions on how I should repent this time?
