Well I did it again. When Walee ran for 68 yards for the TD with about 6+ minutes to gor I shut off the TV and my wife and I left for a dinner party near Pendleton. About 6 miles from there she turned on the radio 104.1. There was static and the signal was weak. I knew there was a game on but didn't know which one. As we got closer I heard overtime and almost ran off the road as the game finished. I then thought of 1993 and the fact that I left that game somewhere maybe the middle of the fourth quarter and by the time that I pulled into my drive the game ended with the announcer screaming into my ear. In disgust I threw my last beer against the barn door. Later at the Las Vegas Bowl I was in the hospitality tent eating fried chicken and began talking to a nice older gentleman about the bowl game. I jokingly told him that by attending the Las Vegas Bowl that I was repenting my lack of faith in the Cardinals for walking out on them in the Toledo game. As we left for the game I told him my name and he said it ws nice talking to you and that his name was Ed. Ed Ball I said that I had a few jars with green beans in them with his name on them. Any suggestions on how I should repent this time? That’s a lot going on there.

After a day to relish in the victory, I will say this: I would still give Kelly 2-3 series a game at QB and possibly in assorted other scenarios (possibly goal-line situations).
It's not going to hurt Paddock, and it could make us harder to prepare for and defend (that is if the coaches actually are willing to and capable of putting together a play package that suits his talents and don't try to force a square peg into their round hole of an offense. I have absolutely no confidence that they can or would do that).

As a fan, I’d like to at least see what he can do for a couple drives.

Was told he would be good. Not sure what that means as far as a time frame He was smiling in a TE's picture from after the game that I saw on twitter or someplace. Seemed to look OK. Those guys were THE difference in that game as far as I'm concerned.

We need to play every game like we are behind. I totally agree. We look like a totally different team when we are active and attacking. I know some of our short passes and whatever are necessary because of protection, but we just look more confident, active, aggressive and whatever when in hurry-up mode.

Yes, but Blazek, by all accounts is just a taller, maybe not as good version of Paddock right now. Theoretically, he wouldn't offer anything different for the defense to worry about. Kelly, again according to reports, has a little different game. He might add a twist to our generally predictable offense. But like I said, not sure our coaching staff likes "twists."

Watching warmups, Kelly isn’t as accurate as Blazek. I think neu prefers “safe” and predictable over dynamic but inconsistent.

You guys have it right no reason to play Blazek right now or this year. He is a bigger paddock with a much higher ceiling but doesn’t know the playbook and has not had the snaps paddock has
Kelly calls for the offense to be different. He has a big arm but it can get bit wild. He has the legs to take off and go to the house. He could also pick up those short yardage situations. He is different that what we have or the way we play. So someone’s gotta change something to see him. I like a Kelly package as well

Didn't Neu have a wildcat package once in a while last few years?
That might be workable.

It was awesome. Showed replays of the game set to music along with the corresponding play by play from Joel and a bunch of locker room highlights.
