Game Saturday. Will be much more like a true MAC road game.
With a familiar coach, they are a high scoring team, with more size, use their bench, and have a good guard who leads them in scoring.

The Dukeees! They almost saved us a few frustrating, losing years but hired DamnBrot instead.
A bullet dodged for them, but he is now on THEIR hot seat.

Watching them play right now against UCSB. They have a lot of players that we should be familiar with. Dae Dae Grant from Miami, Joe Reece from BG, an Indiana State player, and a guy from Indy who played at TCU with Pearson.
Duquesne gets beat off the dribble quite a bit but they make up for it by poking the ball away. Pretty good active hands on defense. Looks like they rely a lot on their athleticism compared to a defined game plan. I wouldn’t say they play streetball, but their play looks kinda erratic.
Lastly, let’s hope for our game they have a different cameraman.The game view can is all over the place with way too many zooms in and out. The color commentator is also pretty annoying so if he’s back I would suggest listening to Mick and Eha’s radio call with the game on mute.

I watch random games or games with teams that we eventually play all of the time. I should have been a scout when I grew up I suppose. Haha! |

Dambrot can flat coach. He's proved it at several places. Be very interesting to see how Lewis does against him.

I watched bits and pieces of Akron western emu and toledo tonight.. I love some ESPN plus… I heard there was some kinda garbage big 10 game on but no one wants to watch crap

I'm a bit more optimistic we compete, would take our best game yet to win a tough road game. We're probably better now than against ISU, but they are probably tougher opponent. |
