Last years team would have lost by at least 15 points to Duquesne. We ae starting to get the hang of it. Impressed with Coleman yesterday. I don't think anybody in the MAC has a center who could handle Sparks exception being Wilson of Kent State. Coleman making good decisions with the ball? That would not and did not happen two years ago. When Jacobs and Sellers decide to go something good generally happens and Windham keeps them honest with his 3's. Then Sparks is averaging a double, double. Our team is already giving the league something to think about.

I think Lewis will “encourage “ a player or two to leave after this season. We’ve lost to some good teams and we’ve been really competitive. As Lewis said Said he feels we should have two more wins. We played well enough, just had some tough luck at the buzzer in a couple. I like our progress. Before he pushes too many people out the door (especially if it's Hendriks), he'd better prove he can recruit a few bigs. |

Free throws have cost at least 3 of the 4 losses. Also 2 of those were buzzer beaters.
Free throw practice is in order.

We are learning to handle the pressure and not fold under pressure. |

Keep the turnovers down & play defense the team will be much better. Sparks free throw shooting is mental. I don't think any coach is going to change him into an 80% shooter. Sparks hit 70% last year that is the goal you we need to work toward. We get him there this team injury free should win 20 games. This week we should beat EIU & IUPUI easily neither has a win against D1 schools.
