How can a winless team in the MAC be favored over the 1st place team in the MAC? BSU is playing the best basketball a Cardinal team has played since our Sweet 16 team with McCurdy, Kidd and company!

That one is easy. Our best basketball in recent history and their winless MAC record(plus the other games) just aren't that far apart. It's a MAC road game. At their place it's a close game if we play well. They are going to be motivated and have a rabid crowd. |

It will be close.
Question is, if we win convincingly, what will our expectations be rest of the year? I guess we cross that bridge when we come to it! Athens is always difficult place to play on road. Can't wait for tonight!

Side note from that thread, as well as similar threads on the CSN MAC board... why does everyone who talks about BSU say that BSU's backcourt is "a brand-new backcourt with transfers Boogie Coleman ... and Demarius Jacobs"? Please confirm to me that Jacobs played for Whit last year that wasn't some kind of drug induced memory haze... I don't remember hitting the hard drugs last year and am pretty sure I suffered through that last year of Whit, but maybe it was all a dream and Demarius just showed up on campus this year.... and maybe the Blackford mafia never happened.... hmm.... that would make sense. That whole pig farm NIL commercial did seem like a weird oddity, so it being some kind of trippy 70's dream state Buggaloo's/Lidsville/Pufnstuf kind of peculiarity. Oh... wait. Sorry. Digression. Back to the topic. Beat Ohio! |
