When Coleman was going on all cylinders he had many assists involving the other four players. Yes I watched him go the other ugly way which really put us in bad situations. In spite of being inconsistent I want him to stay.

In spite of being inconsistent I want him to stay. I'd mostly agree (though I posted his numerous awful stat lines during the season), but he reverted back to his old self the last 6 weeks of the season because he realized Lewis had no one else to play. Boogie may find himself on the bench if he doesn't play up to standards given Lewis will have other options at guard now. |

It's been our curse. Coleman was not hurting us much and maybe it was our best chance. But it was not pretty basketball, that's a fact. And then he was hurt himself and it could not ever work... |

Lots of talk about NBA players in the MAC. So that got me thinking I quickly scanned the list of Players from the MAC. Most years going back forever the MAC gets one or two players alot of these guys also only played in a couple games. It also seems every five or so years there will be a 2-4 year gap where we get no one. The two years that were different were 97/98 where there were 3 and 4 players who signed NBA contracts. Those were the glory years for NBA players. From 86-99 we had multiple players who made it more than four years. Then Kaman 2003 had a long career. Since 2003 Only Richaun Holmes has lasted longer than 2 years. Were coming off a dead period from 2016-2020 where we had another dead period. In 2021 we had one and 2022 we had 2. 2023 could possibly match 97 and or 98 as the MAC has upwards of 4 maybe 5 NBA level guys

Don't kid yourself. Next years team will live and die with Boogie...even more so than last year's team. I said "may", mostly because I don't have a clue what to expect from the newcomers, but if the team lives or dies on Boogie, then we're in big trouble. |

thats right.. I was talking to a guy fairly close to EMU program and Bates did allegedly ask about coming back. Problem was he attended zero classes while enrolled

Will have to be more disciplined to survive in NBA on and off court. D for consistency and dependability won't cut it on the floor either.
