Good road win, we could have lost another close one but team found a way to finish strong.
For a team that shoots horrible free-throws, we sure as hell find a way to get to the line often. We got to the FT line 29 times tonight vs. 14 for Bowling Green.

We got to the FT line 29 times tonight vs. 14 for Bowling Green. A lot of that was the last 3 minutes. They made us shoot them to win. |

Cards hold off a BG comeback and get a win at Bowling Green, 69-60. Would have been less of a nail biter if the red and white could have hit a few more free throws. It's a win on the road, so take it and move on and Beat Eastern.

To have a shot at making a run in the MAC tourney, we have got to figure how to shoot FT’s. As many as we get per game, shooting 50% won’t get it done! Practice time!!

Sparks played better defense tonight, especially down the stretch getting a lot of rebounds towards the end. Bumbalough keeps getting better little by little each game too. I feel like his confidence is slowly coming back.
Jacobs needs to stop getting in foul trouble. He’s fouled out in way too many games this year. We tend to panic at times without him out there. Coleman as the main ball handler is not ideal. I know we got called for traveling twice tonight, but he got away with a few others too. We desperately need his points though so we’re gonna have to live with that.
BG got cold late in the game which helped us big time. Free throws continue to haunt us. This 9 point win easily could have been twice that, but any road win is a good win.

Wasn’t able to watch tonight so just checking the box. Clearly doesn’t tell the whole story. We blew a 20 point lead? Ugh but as most have noted I will not bitch about a road dub. Still cannot understand why our FT shooting is so horrible. That should be fixed or improved 22 games into the season, right?
