On paper BG looks impressive. They are third in the MAC offenses with 78.1 a game and 10th in the MAC on defense at 77.0 a game. They are fifth in the MAC in FG's at 73%. Fourth in the MAC in total rebounds at 38.2 per game and fourth in the MAC in blocked shots. They are the second best FT team in the MAC at 75%(we are at 11th). They are led by Leon Ayres III with 18 a game as a guard.
If we play with the kind of intensity that we did at NIU at the outset,I like our chances.

It seems like this can be a very tough game. BSU will need to play some very tough defense and don't give up the cheap fouls.
Need this game to remain in the MAC Top 4.

The top 5 or 6 in the MAC are pretty much the same story with Kent and, when they're hot, Toledo above the rest. Win the close road games and there are at least 3 or 4 teams could get a 2 or 3 seed.
This year it isn't so much we are one good player away from the top teams. We have a good starting 5 and Jihad turning into a good player off the bench, close to what we need. I would love another good player of course, and always like another decent big guy, but it would not be a tall order to have a hard nosed wing defender off the bench who could help keep our defensive intensity.

First 19 minutes of that half we played really well. Intense defense. Looks like we let up and let Bowling Green finish on a 6-0 run to cut lead to 14. That last minute will be what Lewis will be hammering home.

played pretty well. Really cant cinplain about much. I might be paranoid but it just feels lije BG has a big run in them

The Cards 14 point halftime lead is now down to eight. The red and white have been outscored 7-1 in the first three minutes of the second half. Need to pick up the defense, cut the turnovers and start hitting some shots.
