Good road win, we could have lost another close one but team found a way to finish strong. For a team that shoots horrible free-throws, we sure as hell find a way to get to the line often. We got to the FT line 29 times tonight vs. 14 for Bowling Green. Just imagine if were shooting about 85% from the line what some of these game scores would be! Sellers is a mystery, hits 3's, not FTs? |

He’s in his head. sparks is a non factor on offense and I never would’ve expected that coming into this year. He took 3 shots. We gotta get him at least 10 shots a game, especially since he draws a lot of fouls. From the end of the first half to the end of the game our offense was broken. Gotta get things opened back up. Starting with at least hit the free ones. that would take some pressure off HAVING to hit shots. |

To their credit, Ball State fought them off every time they had an opp to take the lead but 16-29 FT’s? Woof.
I can’t speak for Boogie as a locker room guy but he’s the guy that wants to take the shot when the Cards need it.

Gus martin asked about owens white and was told he was away for personal reasons. Ive heard that so many times and 9 out of 10 times it means he gone

Road conference win is always big and tonight they answered the bell when it was tied ended with a 13-4 run to finish the game.
They toughed it out when it counted. 15-7 and 6-3 and counting.

BG is not exactly Kansas but they do average 76 a game and we held them to 60. That’s a helluva good effort on the road.

I think we lose that game last year with Whitford coaching. Seem to be mentally tougher this year. Have to credit the coaching staff.
