Cards lose a tough one. Very difficult to play without Sparks and a very short bench. When Sellers fouled out I think we all knew the outcome.

Two horrible losses in a row on the road. No Sparks is a back breaker. If he can’t come back we will lose the rest. At this point we just have to hope he can play in the MAC tourney. We aren’t beating Akron or Toledo without him (and maybe not with him) so the focus is going to have to be on putting something together to make a run in Cleveland. Part of that is Coleman getting his head out of his rear and LEADING. Really strong season derailed. |

The only positive is Eastern Michigan increasing their chances of being the #8 seed. We're not going to be the #1 seed. It's either going to be Toledo or Kent St. The only potential #8 seed with a snowball's chance in hell of beating a #1 seed is Eastern Michigan. Maybe a #4 seed BSU can win the battle with the #5 seed and then play Eastern Michigan in game #2 of the MAC tournament instead of facing Toledo or Kent St in that second round game.

I think Toledo will win the tourney. They are clicking on all fires at the right time.
We’ll see how our team responds to “adversity” and we’ll really find how just how good Lewis is at this coaching thing.

So many years we've had late season personnel problems. But we have enjoyed a good run to 20 wins this year. Can have hopes for Cleveland.

Thats the first time I've been to a game at EMU where there was actually a decent home crowd. I don't think they were enough to bother us, but they definitely gave Eastern a boost.

Very disappointing let down game. I’m not sure we’ll win again this year. Got to get Sparks and everyone else back playing full strength for MAC tournament.

84% from the free throw line minus Sparks. So at this point we are looking at Ohio, NIU, or Buffalo in the first round. Are any of those really easier than the other? Then Toledo, Kent, or Akron in the semi-final. I'm not sure if our seed or who we play is going to matter. Assuming we get Sparks back we could beat or lose to any team in the tournament.
We are 3-1 against Toledo, Kent, and Akron and 2-2 against Ohio, NIU, and Buffalo.

Coleman is such a huge disappointment! Shooting percent is terrible! Turnovers at the most inopportune time. Out of control too much. If he could put some of his “A” game to gether he can be a BOG help - most of the times he plays out of control.Played a great first half - gave it all back and more in second half.
