You can read this article and then use what we allready know and figure out the outcome on our own.
Hatcher will "win" the job. It really comes to down to Young Exciting Risky vs Old proven vet. What I dont want to see is Kelly start against Ken and Ga tgen get yanked and his confidence is crushed.

What I dont want to see is Kelly start against Ken and Ga tgen get yanked and his confidence is crushed. If they don't find a way to use Kelly they are wasting talent. I like old and proven and I like the potential with our RB position. But a very good RPO package, or even using the two together some way, could create real problems for a defense. Put Kelly in and even run the same play and it has different dimensions.

Yeah, another well reasoned, forward thinking bsu policy. Folks showing displeasure in the YouTube comments. But, maybe because it’s not even a game, just a practice? “Spring game” has been a misnomer since Neu took over. Meanwhile you’ll see sec spring games on the sec network….. Neu is not far off from Whitford in terms of giving two shits about the community. He seems to be able to build excitement INSIDE a program (though that seems to be dwindling too), but he's clueless about ingratiating himself to the community.

Agreed, but it’s Lynch and Neu we’re talking about here….

Hatcher is going to have to be better than average or Neu is going to have a full blown QB controversy on his hands. Everyone I mean Everyone wants Kelly.

Maybe Neu will use Hatcher to take the mauling Kentucky and Georgia will lay on the Cardinals and then hand the job over to Kelly against Indiana State and beyond?

I guess thats possible. The risk of Kelly right now is lack of expierience and things like Ball Placement and accuracy. Its not a armstrength thing. If you go Kelly you take the good and at spectacular but you gotta expect that he will sometimes maybe do somethings that will drive you Crazy. Toledo and Finn are the best MAC examples but you also see it with alot of todays NFL quarterbacks. Its a risk/reward thing Im convinced though had Kelly been playing last year in sone capacity We would have been going to a bowl game. I have a feeling we are going to see Kelly when we get around the thirty thats fine as long as tgey allow him to throw it as well as use his legs. Even Pourous Mac Defenses will key on him if he is never allowed to throw it

It was windy so perhaps that was a factor? - we are going to need wide receiver help particularly in stretching the field - our tight ends are going to be a match-up problem for just about everybody - speaking of match-up problems Pemberton really stood out to me. He was giving our linebackers fits in one-on-ones and that wheel route TD to him was a play we couldn’t do at all last year - we’re going to see a very different offense than last year. It should be much more multi-faceted and versatile making it difficult to key on one guy (no more handing the ball off to a running back 25-30 times a game). That got him a great NIL deal and got us a sub .500 record and no bowl game

I'd agree that Steele became a crutch for an impotent offense. Instead of a balanced offense, it was a lot easier to just hand off and let him run. Receivers couldn't get into any rhythm, and learn to get separation.
