Kent is outstanding. Terrific defense to go with those guards. And like it or not, Thomas gives them something. I think they can win some tourney games.

Kent's defense destroyed the continuity of Toledo's offense in the second half. They are a deserving champion, especially when you look at what they did preMac. Because of that OC schedule can they be an 11 seed? Love to see that. Toledo is an automatic NIT qualifier by winning the MAC.

Toledo winning football, both basketball regular seasons and both basketball tournaments would have just been too much. No MAC program is allowed to enjoy that much success.

Yeah as I was watching some of the American conference tournament game I was wondering if Toledo is wanting to make the case that they are worth consideration of an invite to join the American conference especially since the Big 12 will be cherry picking some teams possible away from the American conference. Toledo has shown they have dominated the MAC recently. |
