Meet the new coach. Same as the old coach. Nope, nope, nope... Lewis is the real deal. A 20 game winner in his first season, with someone else's players? He's the guy. The injuries at season's end were likely more troubling than we know.

Meet the new coach. Same as the old coach. It is too soon to tell if Lewis will be successful. But I am confident that it's not the same as the old coach.

TV analysts projecting BSU to CBI post season tournament. It will be disappointing if our administration pays for that

Meet the new coach. Same as the old coach. How can you say that? Look what he inherited and then look how those inherited improved. BTW, this team could have easily been a 22 win team but to last second shots. Chirp chirp my ass!

It’s even worse I found the last guy who thinks Whitford is a better coach than Lewis on Twitter.

Somewhere in the universe, James Whitford has a shit eating grin on his face saying “ with that pathetic weak schedule I padded for myself, I would have won 21 games and lost by only 19 in the first round of the MAC tournament “

It’s even worse I found the last guy who thinks Whitford is a better coach than Lewis on Twitter. As long as the guys named isn't Payton Sparks, Jaylin Sellers, or Basheer Jihad let them vent. Probably drunk.

Physically out of gas and mentally out of gas. Thanks to the team for a great season. Lewis has a challenge recruiting because of our past record but I think he can over time get it done. Could not expect Coleman to really be on his game today.

I also don't think Lewis lost the team but something was missing. We definitely failed to match the intensity of Eastern Michigan (second half), Toledo, and Ohio. At least they gave us the Kent State win. Maybe he didn’t lose the team, but we definitely lost something. Started with the Wmu loss. Got it back vs Kent then lost it again, especially in second halves. A big part of that has to be fatigue. And, quite honestly, those cats weren’t used to being pushed that hard and for that long. With no real bench to speak of to turn to we just broke down. Whether it was a case of the team not being used to being pushed or not, that was always going to take a toll on them without players on the bench who could step up.
To be a really good team you need at least 3 players on the bench who may be quite as good but are almost as good as some of the starters. Combine that with having to really push those starters and then losing critical time from a couple of the best of the starting five and not being able to practice hard, it's a credit they played very hard in 3 of 6 games at the end.

Lewis won 20 games. Walked into the gym with Whitford's players and left with 20 wins. Not sure many other coaches could have done that.

The injuries at season's end were likely more troubling than we know. Nobody can ever accuse me of being a Whitford fanboy, but the plain fact is that he left Lewis too much talent to expect a fucking 20 point loss in the first round of the MAC tourney. That's just a fact.

Agree that we should not have ended with a 20 point shitshow of a loss. No way.
