Well I see us limping along the first part of the season but if Coleman goes we will be in a wheel chair by the end of the season. I say this by not knowing if the new guys can even dribble the ball or not get confused at which basket to shoot at. Hopefully they are a little further along in the skills area.

They desperately need shooters. What a bummer!! I'm not 100% sure on that. I wonder if this means there are now 2. If Sellers had decided 2 or 3 weeks ago, what strategic advantage is there to waiting until the last week the portal is open to declare? The only reason I can come up with is Sellers wanted to have an offer lined-up before saying he was in the portal. It must be rather embarrassing to be in the portal while others are being taken. Think of the Kentucky QB Levin being in the "Green Room" while the entire 1st round of the NFL draft plays out. Did Sellers feel he had been recruited over by the additions of Jalin Anderson and Davion Bailey? Was he afraid of the competition? Was he afraid of not getting the minutes next season he thought he deserved? Yeah, I'm bitter. |

I believe Lewis has been really tough on some players. I know factually that’s why Sparks left.

I love Lewis's style but alot of kids these days are not going to be able to handle it. I see it everyday kids are soft and getting softer by tge year |

Well shit. We’ve lost our two best players before they’ve even peaked. I wonder if Coleman truly is coming back is that a factor? I said at the end of the season that Sellers needs to ascend to be our Alpha and that’s not possible if Coleman is here.
I agree about Mikes coaching style being a negative with some kids. Sparks and Sellers both struck me as soft spoken kids and having a new coach who coaches really hard is not palatable for most of today’s players. It’s easier to be that way if you’re Bill Self, Coach K or even Mick Cronin and you’ve got cred and an Elite program. Not so much if you’re brand new at a MAC school. That’s why Senderoff gets the recruits he does, IMO. He lets the inmates run the asylum.
We may be appreciably worse next year.
