I think it'll be a bigger struggle than many think even though it's "just" Indiana St. I know they've had problems at QB, but they play hard and physical and they will challenge us at the point of attack, where we've been weak. Our OLINE has GOT to get more punch and open some holes for Cooper. If he can find a seam he's gonna break a few long runs. We have to establish ourselves early or it could be a long, embarrassing afternoon. I was there the last time when ISU beat us at our place. It was inexcusable. Can't let that happen again. I think it'll help if Neu settles on one QB and lets him run the show the whole game and find a rhythm. And yes, get Kelly more integrated into the offense than he has been. They don't really want him at QB so make him a Justin Hall type swiss army knife player. Jet sweeps. Screens. Throw him a dang out route or something. Anything to get him in the open field like we did with Hall. But, part of that entails being honest with the young man and tell him he's not going to be the QB, but, we need him to be a big part of what we do. Otherwise, quit dicking around with it.
We should at least not be out quicked this week. Right?

We've got to get that bell back. It's an embarrassment that they have it. We get few chances to reclaim it. Must win this game.

Get Cooper going is #1 priority and then unleash Kelly and get the two of them the ball enough, making QBs job not so hard. |

I watched a little bit of their game with IU. They play very physical football, but aren't very athletic, which IU exploited in the second half. If they get their #1 QB back or are able to get a ground game going, it could get interesting.
