Seem to rely on their passing attack. They could exploit our secondary that tends to play 10 yards off of the receiver. Our prob is the offense keeping up and putting D in impossible situations time and time again That's an area where the SEC level athletes made a difference, maybe. Probably forced more hurried plays, not just getting the turnover but creating field position after 3 and out. |

GASO’s QB has 7 INT’s already. 5 in the Wisconsin game alone. Are they gonna keep throwing and live with the potential INT’s? Or are they gonna take a different approach and run the ball more this game?
Question for the group….do you consider Wisconsin and Kentucky to be equal? Did we look better in a loss to UK compared to GASO and Wisconsin? Scoreboard says we didn’t, but time of possession and yards (for the majority of the game) were in our favor.
I went to the game against GASO last year and was impressed with their fan support. I wonder if they will travel well to the game this weekend. Hopefully we have a good home atmosphere to help us win!

GASO’s QB has 7 INT’s already. 5 in the Wisconsin game alone. Are they gonna keep throwing and live with the potential INT’s? 5 or over the sell is easy... Look I took a very youbg team and guided them to 5 wins we are only going to be better next year

We are going to know the goal of this team Saturday. If hunt plays you know the goal is getting as many wins as possible and they are trying for six.
If Hunt sits then you can assume the staff feels like they have a real shot in the mac and burning a loss to GA southern is ok

I said earlier if we don't win more than 5 Coach Neu will not return. Hunt plays Saturday if physically as good as you indicate in injuries. Neu needs wins now not next year.

I feel we have a good QB. Solid at the RB position. Receivers, not sure yet! O-line has potential to be good. On D side of things, D-good. LB strength. DB are still a question, but Potts is real good. So, how do I see Georgia Southern ? Southern teams always play northern teams like they are still fighting the Civil War. They play tough. Can we match their toughness. Most years we have not! Hate to say it, but I see a loss! If we match their toughness we stand a good chance of winning.

This game matters. Why can’t we beat Georgia Southern and also compete in the MAC? Play our best players who are physically capable of playing. Maybe give Hunt more rest than usual his first game back, but I will never criticize a coach for trying to win a football game. Some of these comments criticizing a coaching staff’s desire to reach bowl eligibility is baffling to me. We should all desire that result (not counting the non-football fans who only care about $). No head coach is going to come to Ball State and turn us into a powerhouse, so I hate the tank for a new coach perspective from fans. If Neu fails to make a bowl I understand moving in a different direction, but I certainly won’t be rooting for that outcome. Back to Hunt, a player could get injured in any football game on any play, so I say let’s come out with our best players with our best game plan (I know, cue the criticism of the play calling) and beat Georgia Southern! |
