A good coaching staff puts the ball in the hands of their play makers which we as a rule seldom do. I think it may be time to find a staff that will do just that  |

In terms of winning games ... it's not like if Hunt doesn't play we're bound to lose because we're stuck with some scrub at TE. Kozoil seems extremely competent. I don't think we lose a lot if Hunt doesn't play, except maybe the ability to throw some 2 TE sets out there, which would be great if effectively utilized ... but I have already expected doubts about the coaching staff's ability to effectively utilize players, so .... Hunt coming back lets us move Koziol to the outside more almost using him as A Wr. Not having Robinson for awhile is going to kill us. We desperately need a WR to step up. Problem is Robinson was tge only option with a little size Except that in this game I would expect us to run the ball, run the ball, run the ball. Neu's philosophy in this game will be to eat clock with the run game and keep their offense off the field. Even the passing game will be short, ball control, time eating routes. Two TE sets would probably fit into what Neu would want to do but not for passing downfield, just run blocking and the short passing game. |

Not a bad plan. I have no objection to boring them to death if we can get on the board, and if we can turn them over, it could work. They are pretty explosive and can get quick yards passing so we need a lead to weather that late in the game. I agree with Calhoun who wrote elsewhere there are no games anymore where a low scoring team can win with defense.
We need more than ball control, we need to make those time consuming drives produce scores.

The betting line has moved in our favor hours before the game. Down to +5.5. I’m not sure I’d bet on us with anything less than a TD underdog, but I like to see others expecting a close game.

Welp they had very little trouble against our d on the first drive.
They use lots of deception and movement where’s our offense does not.

Wish our offensive scheme was like GSU Exactly. Ours is very basic and predictable and is predicated on a dominant Oline, which we do not have. So frustrating to watch. |

Man, this game gonna be over by mid 2nd qtr. we look completely unprepared on both sides of the ball.
I was hoping we’d at least be competitive today. We are not.
