I'm sure GaSo was more talented, but we played below our own talent level. Should we have won? Probably not. But we should have looked better than we did.
If that trajectory continues the rest of the year it'll be 3 consecutive years of that happening IMO. That's 3 years of coaching failure. That's more than enough.

Hopefully our season highlight won't be reclaiming the victory bell.
Maybe playing horrible MAC teams will jump start the offense, but I'm not expecting much.

We ran out of bounds on 3rd and long before the end of the first half. Stopped the clock; we punt and they get a field goal. GS had 2 timeouts, maybe they take one. But regardless, it’s situational awareness that we seem to lack. On multiple levels. I’m not sure if our coaches would know to teach that sort of thing. Our OC is not very good.

I think it's a combination of loyalty and poor judgment. It's one thing to have loyalty to the Lynch family. It's another thing to promote them to crucial positions on your staff. Sure, our salary level sucks compared to other schools but there had to be someone else out there. And our co-offensive coordinator is a coach who was losing big as the head man at Western Illinois. We grab him and immediately put him in a crucial role also. Whatever happened to hiring winners? And Neu's offensive philosophy clearly appears to be stuck in the mud. Apparently learned nothing from being in the same room with Sean Payton for a while. |

I’ve been going to Ball State football for almost fifty-five years. I left at half time for probably only the second time in all those years. Less than sixty yards in the first half and almost 300 for Georgia State - really! Normally I go to the Western Michigan game, not this year. Depending on how they play the next two games, I may have attended my last game this year! Tired of shit football. Love Neu, but he has given us too many years of bad football. If this ends, please, no more Lynch hires!

This was an embarrassing loss in front of the home crowd. We looked completely overmatched on both lines of scrimmage, their playbook was far more creative, huge speed difference. I heard so many longtime fans comment that it was the worst they’ve seen us look since Neu’s first year. Remember when every team trucked us by three TD’s? It was brutal and this was close. Unless we miraculously turn it around I think this is it.
By the way, he’s not gonna resign as some have suggested. Mitchell will have to can him. It’s too bad because he’s a BSU legend as a player but we have no choice. You are what your record says you are and we’ve been at or below average too often under this regime. We need a new face and voice.
For those calling for Hatcher at QB, I’ve heard he may have a torn labrum. 🤕. If that’s true then we ride or die with Semonza and today he looked like a freshman. He’s got talent but he has a long way to go before he’s a major threat.

Yeah no way he resigns. I’m not even sure I’d want him too. Look at how people treat Lembo. I am very reluctantly joining the fire Neu crowd. But getting dominated at home in year 8 to peer group competition doesnt cut it. I hope he wins me back and either way I’m grateful for the MAC championship. But this cannot go on this way.

DJ Irons stats are not that impressive tonight against IU but the dude has made plays. That’s what we’re missing with Kelly on the bench. Need to turn a broken play into a game winning play? Give it to an athlete.
