I thought after the San Jose bowl win Neu would see the light, change his methods, and continue the winning ways...NOT...  ...he just will not change his his mind set...time to make a change |

We had no energy from the get go. Our defense played soft, especially the DBs. I don't care if Neu is a nice guy or not, but he certainly is a weak football coach
that should be shown to the door ASAP. Pathetic.

In my opinion, that was the worst home loss since Miami OH took them out 49-3 in 2003. The offense was lifeless all afternoon. The only highlight of the day was the recognition of the baseball team at halftime. At this point I'm guessing 4-8, with 3-9 very possible. If they drop their next 2 to the directional Michigan schools they'll likely be 1-6 going to homecoming because Toledo might win in Muncie by 3+ td. So sad to see this in year #8.

Mike owned it after the game, but that’s talk. Let’s see if he can actually make the necessary changes to EVERYTHING in his program because top to bottom it’s a fail in terms of on field success. Team was flat, looked unsure of themselves, uncomfortable, uncommitted, weak, soft, and without confidence in what they were doing yesterday. From the open kick to the final horn. It was bad and people in the stands were not happy. With anything.

When a team comes out flat, both sides of the ball, every position group, that is very odd. Assistant coaches usually motivate and prepare their groups play in some ways independent of a head coach.
And, this wasn't a case where defense failed putting offense in hopeless position or vice versa. This was total collapse evident after 2 or 3 possessions with nobody seemingly ready to go. No rally and recovery.
I'll give GSt a lot of credit, they were really ready. I could see that stunning the team as part of the problem. But it sure didn't look like anybody at all our side responded.

Agree with all that is said. Am ready for womens basketball real winners and will continue with volleyball team that has purpose and confidence in getting the job done after a challenging start to the season. Neu should be fired along with most of the staff tomorrow morning. playing around with the QB selection took a toll but the archaic football scheme has really come home to roost. We will not beat Western as they gave Toledo a good fight. Toledo lost Finn but their backup did the job. Akron? I watched the last quarter and the 4 OT. IU is not much better than us. Raw,Raw Allen may or should be on a very warm seat. I really don't see us winning another game. I don't know if MIke can get this team back or not. We have all too often seen in the last three years an instance where the team played out the season without regard for winning but to "just have fun"

If Neu goes, please make sure Lynch goes with him. Lynchs’ have bored into the long term losing fiber of BSU football and may be impossible to eradicate in the near future. We thought we had it gone once but it reached out and sunk its’ tentacles into another decade of football misery. |

Was GS a decent team, yes. A power not, we played better at Kentucky on the road. To lose against GS at home in a blowout is absolutely pathetic!
I like Neu but if he can’t win 50% of his games this year it’s time to clean house!

It's Monday and I'm still trying to make sense of what I saw Saturday. Just awful. The kind of play that gets the coach fired. Are these kids on the same page? Are the coaches?

My buddy looked over at me at one point and asked if we had ever seen anything that bad in all the years that we had been attending games. I couldn't rember anything. 2003, you might be correct, but it's hard to recall anything so disheartening and pathetic. |

We celebrated when we finally crossed the 50. The next play, a very predictable run, lost two yards, back on the wrong side of the 50.....
