Through 2 games Boogie is averaging only 4.5 ppg in 18.5 minutes per game. He’s coming off the bench. Wondering if that’s what he envisioned his role would be. If that's what it is the entire season, wonder if he's happy enough with his NIL money not to complain and cause problems? Pretty likely the money was a bigger factor. He has enough resume to go overseas which he'll do. He has family, didn't have to go overseas this year, money maybe about the same? |

Sparks with 2 points 4 rebounds against army Played 9 minutes ... Still coming back from ankle? He looked like he was moving just fine, although appeared to be a little nervous. Baring an injury to Ware or foul trouble, I'm guessing last night's box score will become the norm for Sparks. He clearly is not looked upon to score and his main duty on offense was to set screens. Hope the money was worth it! |

Unless there is injury to one of IU's starting big players, I would not expect more PT. There may be a game or three where foul trouble means he can get more time, but this seems like a normal rotation for him. OTOH, sometimes IU may go small and he would get fewer minutes. |

Don't forget about Kaiyem Cleary who stopped at BSU for one year 2022-23, now at LeMoyne University in their first year of D-1. In 3 games he's played 69 minutes, notching 38 points and 20 rebounds including their first two games being vs Georgetown and Villanova.

Don't forget about Kaiyem Cleary who stopped at BSU for one year 2022-23, now at LeMoyne University in their first year of D-1. In 3 games he's played 69 minutes, notching 38 points and 20 rebounds including their first two games being vs Georgetown and Villanova. Did not realize he was at a D1 school. Pretty impressive numbers kid was really athletic but seemed lost most of the time. |

Sparks played 8 minutes in the IU win over Wright St. 8 minutes was the lowest playing time for the 10 Hoosiers who made an appearance in the game. Sparks had 1 point. It was painful to watch him shoot free throws. He was 1 for 4, making his final attempt.
The most real thing the game announcers said about Sparks was: "he's a big body who will give IU 5 more fouls to use against the Purdue C, Edey".
