Fun game great enviroment in the first half. Second half became kinda a snooze fest cause we were just kicking there ass I love it when victory is almost assured and you can relax with a beer and watch the away fans soak in their misery. Especially the Toledo fans. Almost like when you're up 10 on Miami with 3 minutes left.......?

Makers Mark 101 got me through the first quarter and then it was party time in the fourth. The men needed Becki to preserve the win against Miami.

CBS Sports Network has announced another nationally televised game for the Lady Cards on February 11 against JMU as part of the Sun-Belt Challenge.
Really good exposure for the program and university.

I've never seen a mental mistake like that before.

While y'all are b*tching about BSU basketball, the ladies....yawn.... win their 11th straight game. I watched it & that was a butt-whoopin'!! They understandably came out the 2nd half flat & Coach called a quick timeout. They reset and went back to playing their aggressive defense! Everybody on the roster got plenty of clock last night. They are fun to watch!!

13 out of the 14 girls scored in the game. 46 bench points. 32 points off turnovers. Just a solid all-around performance and the freshmen got 15 minutes of playing time.
The strength of this team is their adaptability. We don't need to rely on Becki or Bischoff scoring 20+ points a night. Other players step up, spread the ball around, and make plays. Example: Ana Barreto, off the bench went 5-5 in 17 minutes.
I liked seeing the twins battling in the paint in the 4th quarter. They seem to have bought into Sallee's scheme and play style.

The court awareness and passing the ball by Ashlynn Brooke caught my eye. The twins are 5-10 and not timid. When they were recruited Brady mentioned how hard nosed they were. Bolton has untapped talent. Sydney Shafer somewhat forgotten but put talent on display again. Would not be hesitant to play any of our deep bench if needed. No other team so far has demonstrated the ability to sustain such an intensive defense both full court and half.

Loved seeing them scrap for rebounds and loose balls. Even though they were the smallest players on the court at the time, they most often came away with the ball.

Coach does not take the foot off the gas peddle! Like that. The men’s team needs to learn that lesson, if they’d understood that we would have beat Miami,
