Im just saying dont pay for what you can get for free at an earlier time. want it even earlier watch the press conference your going to hear 5 wuestions those 5 questions are going to be the article. Want something more with a meme read mine. want even more come here. Your going to learn alot more paying attention here than anywhere else It's been a very long time since the SP was a useful conduit of information about BSU basketball. |

Looks like Martin has one week left at the Star Press. I imagine what little coverage BSU had will be even less.

I think he was pretty much awol the last 3 weeks or so anyway. Almost no coverage will just become no coverage. Not much difference. I thought he did a good job with football but he wasn't present for basketball. I get it. I'm sure the pay is pretty terrible. But, man, the local newspaper really needs to step it up a little with a university in town. As far as high school, it looks like only county schools are getting covered. Muncie Central still has teams, do they not? No clue how their basketball team is doing, other than when they lost to Wapahani.

Did a decent enough job when we wrote never felt like he was all in.. Now one will be with the pay rate and expectations. One person cant cover ball state and the high schools.

I just heard on the WMUN with Steve Lindell that this is Gus last week with the Star Press and that there would be a gap in Ball State coverage. It seems coverage will get worse before it gets better.

Sad. No Star Press coverage means the Muncie attendance has/will dive to almost nothing. Lewis must be asking why he came to this one horse town. A city the size of Muncie gives no press coverage to a D1 basketball team - come on man! Sad for Muncie, really sad for Ball State sports.
