Lewis better come up with some serious studs or he will be looking for a new job next year. Lack of serious talent inside and no identity and toughness. Yes, losing the 3 kids to the portal is tough but you have to recruit quality guys around them. This is just plain bad.

There were so many negatives in that game. Pathetic defense, especially down the stretch. Poor defensive rebounding. Couldn't finish at the rim. Costly turnovers at end, especially by Anderson. Our guards can't contain dribble penetration. 17 minutes from the bench, and none of those 17 were were worth a crap.

We looked and played like a Whitford team today. Our zone offense is crap as is our rebounding. Not impressed with effort nor the coaching. In short, we suck!

I've had time to calm down and reflect. Seems we can't penetrate the interior. We don't guard past 19'6". We can't finish a layup when being fouled. And, we get timid with 5 minutes left in the game. Shouldn't have been as close as it was.
Also, has anyone noticed that both Colts and Choke begin with "C"?

Emotionally dead team came out for this 2nd half. No fire whatsoever. Damnit, at least play with some effort!! Got to wonder if that’s a reflection of how the team feels about their coach or the coach isn’t pushing the right buttons. Does Pearson just look like he’s going through the motions or not. There are no leaders on that team Jihad and Person who should be the leaders act like they really don’t want to be the alpha dogs. I think that they played better not being the “man” and were happier be the wing man not the go to. |
