Central is not very good and we play smart defense and feed the post should win by 10 to 15. Seems that playing smart defense continues to be a challenge

Lewis’ very pointed public comments about us hitting the wall and regressing will hopefully challenge anyone on the roster who has some cahones. I get that you can’t motivate every kid with a kick in the pants but I need Hendricks to regrow a pair and play like he did a few games ago. Rebound, blocks some shots, and play like a 6’10” guy who has been here since Worthen was President. He is not devoid of skill he’s lacking an attitude and it’s high time he plays like it. Hammer some people, get in someone’s face and decide that every loose ball and missed shot belongs to you. If he will do that I’ll be happy win or lose. Be a f&#king hockey player, Canuck not a figure skater.

We again dont have alpha nor an enforcer instigator asshole etc. Even last year we had sparks and sellers that were quick to get into someones butt.

What about making a recruiting trip to New York City surely there are some hard nosed take no shit players who want to get out of the city and make something of themselves. play grounds of New York have hundreds of Kent State like players who are tough and not all crooks.

Out of the population of New York City there are probably maybe thousands who could match my 2.75. The stereotype that playground ballers all are academically unqualified for college is BS. Assigning the term "thug" to playground ballers is a real disservice to all those kids who have dreams of making something of themselves

This team has only 1 guy that can create his own offense (Anderson). No alpha big guys, Jihad and Ben are both soft. Lack of skill and toughness is a bad combo. Looks like Lewis has a New Year’s resolution of trying to not turning red in anger-they are testing it today.
They aren’t doing anything that BAD, they are just not good. Lewis needs to make a trip to San Quentin and find some ballers.

And the Cards start the second half with a turnover. This team is just not good. With only returning less than 20 points from last years team, scoring is in short supply. It is likely to be a very long season.
Go Cards!

Anybody catch the stat the that CMU is 0-8 in games they trailed at halftime, but 5-0 in games where they led at the half?
Since they led by 2 today at halftime, not looking good for us.
