I won't be surprised if Lewis shakes up his staff too.

People love being treated that way.
My guess would be that that scouting report was more or less the same quality is usually is but that losing to a dogshit team like CMU unhinged Lewis.

Never heard of a coach being treated that way during a game.

It's a whole lot easier to be a tyrant savant like the General because you're a basketball genius and every kid in Indiana wants to play for you even though you're a complete asshole.
It is quite the other thing to be an offspring from the General's program and try to duplicate that persona and cred at Ball State University to a new generation of player who doesn't like to be humiliated and will leave, if he can, for greener pastures.

When you said "General" and "asshole" in the same sentence, I thought you meant... Eh, never mind.

I have always thought that people made a mistake when they saw Knight's ill-tempered, childishly disrespectful ways and his success and assumed there was a correlation. Knight success was much more due to his cleverness, decisiveness and powers of observation. He could have been just as successful without acting like an immature ass...more successful probably. Take John Wooden, or closer to home Brad Stevens.

The ass hat stuff at some level worked back in the day to create military discipline, which was a plus. It may also have prevented the kind of lackadaisical play and practice every coach today has to accept. But he clearly pushed past what was a plus too many times
