Ok guys it's Candle I was thinking of but if he leaves it's probably not a HC job but a P4 OC job. Toledo blog as are most of you not impressed & think it's time for him to go.

That’s not quite the splash I was hoping for. But if it’s true they went with HC experience over a coordinator.

Stints at Temple and No Illinois. 10 year run as HC at NAIA St Francis. What are your concerns if this is the hire? It’s kinda Lemboish. But, Pete was good out of the box, just couldn’t sustain it. Maybe we were kidding ourselves about getting a high power coordinator like Haines. That’s a higher price point. If this guy is the one at least we know hes built and run programs on his own and has coached in the MAC and at Temple. |

Not quite the lower level HC pedigree I was thinking about. Guess I was hoping for someone with a more sustained track record of success. Seems like low-hanging fruit.

ummmmmmmm Mike uremovich.... rumor... Im just not a fan of this That would be a bad hire. It’s never who we want so when I hear rumors of names I want I know it won’t happen. If the Butler HC is hired, it better be because we couldn’t attract a Faulkner or Haines. If he was chosen over those names then this is outrageous and I can’t wait for three years from now when we try yet again to make the right hire when he’s fired. Terrible. |
